Liz fell in love with photography in 4th grade at a local art center where she first learned to use a darkroom. Then she moved into her grandmother’s home, where she spent all her free time developing pictures in the dark room filled with boxes of old negatives. In 8th grade, she built a camera from a Quaker Oats container for the science fair. In college, she used her electives to take photography classes. On her 40th birthday, her husband gifted her with a digital camera. Now her iPhone is her primary photography source.

Liz was never certain what she would do with all those photos saved in boxes and then later in files on her computer and iPhone until she discovered the art of digital collages. Most of the images in her collages are Liz’s originals. She manipulates them and combines them to create visually striking, bold works of art. Liz prefers square 10″x10″ images.
